Hi All Is there anyone here who managed to get dynamic dns going on the Huawei B683? I bought the one from 8ta and it dynamic port forwarding and web services, but not dynamic dns. There also does not seem to be other firmware for it unless it goes by another model number. Next, I'm going to try to disable dhcp on it so my netgear router can implement dynamic dns based on the ip it gets from 8ta, but I'm not sure if 8ta or any other provider will issue multiple (2) ip addresses to a single device. Facebook password cracker software. Will post back if it worked.

Regards Paul Update: This did not work as the router never got an ip address and the notebook 're-used' the one that it was assigned before. DMZ will also not work as it would have already assigned an ip to the (netgear) router for it to know where to send the traffic. Anyway, from the other post it seems that it will not fix the problem that I had to start with. 8Ta seems to disconnect you randomly in a way that the routers cannot seem to automatically reconnect. I just thought it will be more stable than a normal 3G dongle.
